The Fontenelle Forest Wetlands were completely flooded all
of last summer. In an ironic twist of fate, these photos were taken near the beginning of
a drought. It will not rain for over a
month. It will be a summer with record
breaking heat. The wetlands are covered with dew this
morning, unaware of the pending dry months.
